Dr. Alemar graduated from medical school at the University of Puerto Rico and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Florida. His fellowship in Hematology/Oncology was completed at University of South Florida.  Dr. Alemar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Oncology and Hematology.  Dr. Alemar joined Gulfcoast Oncology Associates in August of 2005.  He speaks English and Spanish fluently.
