Emergencies & Phone Calls

Our nurses return calls during business hours as time permits. You may obtain information or test results from them or wait to speak with your physician at their designated phone times. Please understand that physicians' schedules are different from ours. It may be late in the evening after all patients are seen; or sometimes the following day before their phone calls can be returned. If the matter is urgent, please relay that to the phone receptionist when you call so that the nurse can confer with you in a timely manner.

If an EMERGENCY exists during business hours, please be sure to tell the receptionist that it is an EMERGENCY when you call, or transport yourself, or ask a friend or family member to transport you to the nearest EMERGENCY ROOM. If the EMERGENCY is after business hours, be sure to explain that you have an EMERGENCY when the answering service operator takes your call or immediately transport yourself, or ask a friend or family member to transport you to the nearest EMERGENCY ROOM.
