Ft. Myers, FL – January 1, 2012. . . . Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute announced today that a merger with Hematology-Oncology Associates of Tallahassee is now complete. According to Brad Prechtl, CEO of FCS, the merger adds 2 new physicians to the practice and expands the existing services of the nation's largest privately-owned oncology practice to over 60 locations.
“Dr. Viralkumar Bhanderi and Dr. Paresh Patel bring experience and excellent patient care into our practice, and this merger will add our first site in Tallahassee” said Prechtl. “We are delighted to welcome these outstanding physicians into the Florida Cancer Specialists family.”
